This is the second time i've assisted at the Christmas fair at Watts Gallery Artist's village. It is a great event which hundreds of families flock to. Yesterday i was helping out on the fabric wreaths stand which must have been the busiest activity! It was a brilliant day but rather stressful trying to get people to not sit for too long and allow other families to have a go... but I am glad it was so popular and everyone loved their wreaths.
There must have been thousands of people there today and everyone had such a nice time. The fair hosts so many activities and are available to everyone, children, parents, grandparents, and anyone else who visits... a fun-filled day out, with lots of creative activities, yummy food, the craft tent and not to mention of course Father Christmas himself, reading a beautiful poem throughout the day.
This afternoon I've been helping out on the tree decoration stand outside Limnerslease house. We made these gorgeous little Christmas trees made from pine cones, decorated with glitter (of course), pompoms, and cotton wool to look like snow. How sweet are they!...
