Exhibiting at "All Our Own Crafts"

First of all .. HAPPY NEW YEAR! ... 2014 seem to be a long one. But quite a lot has happened and I'm now ready to move on to the next one :) I said to myself that after graduating I wanted a job in textiles before Christmas.... I guess you could say I succeeded.

I had the lovely opportunity to be apart of a brand new craft shop that opened up about 3 months ago and had great lot of success! All thanks to Tracy Braybrook and Kate Donohoe :) I was able to sell some of my work which honestly I originally thought never would but being apart of that shop gave me a new faith in my work and now I feel so encouraged to keep making!

I thought I'd finally take the opportunity to mention the awesome crafters that were n the shop that everyone definitely needs to look at... everyone's work is so different but all lovely and interesting, there's something for everyone:

As for me now.... I've been lucky enough to be offered 3 months work experience working at Farnham University as a textiles technician! I start on Tuesday and can't wait, really nervous but excited .. will be great to get back into the studio again, this time a bit of teaching as well :) .. so here goes.. start of something new.
