Heatpress workshop

Today I've been at the lovely Sheep Shed Gallery in Weyhill, Hampshire. It's such a lovely place for craft artists. The gallery sits within the Fairground Craft and Design Centre. I'm so lucky to live near a brilliant place where fellow artists work.

The workshop today was my first one using my own heatpress, and i do admit I was a little nervous as I know the risks of using a piece of equipment that goes up to 200 degrees! Nevertheless, it went well, although not many people turned up but at least that then gave the ladies that did come, more time to use the press and more materials to themselves!

I really do love a heat press workshop, there's just so much you ca do with it and not just on textiles too, there's so much more to explore using different papers and bonding materials etc. The workshop today was an introduction to transfer papers, inks bonding and foiling.

Thank you so much to Bea for having me at the gallery today, i had lots of fun and I hope to be back there again soon!
