A visit to Stirling Castle today in Glasgow and wow the views are spectacular!
Like with most castles, you can see for miles! And along with the usual landscapes, Glasgow offers views of its incredible highland mountains surrounding Ben Lomond. I highly recommend a visit to Stirling castle. Dating back to the 1500s, it has so many wonderful stories to offer in The Great Hall, The Royal Palace, The Chapel, the Kitchens, The Heads Gallery and the undeniably amazing tapestries that have been recreated down at West Dean, which is of course renowned for basing highly skilled weavers.
I was so impressed by the level of detail and skill, even in these samples!..
