I finally managed to finish off these pillows for mum, and of course bless her she loves them!
I had so much fun developing the design and printing the fabric for them, and thanks very much to my colleague Katie for helping me out after work! It's just so much easier having in extra pair of hands, especially when printing such a huge piece of fabric. I printed around 3 meters just to be on the safe side and to have a little extra.
Here's the exposed screen...
The large pillows had the design printed onto un-dyed 100% linen, and backed with a 100% wool satin (acid dyed). The smaller pillow again has the design printed onto linen which I dyes with Procion MX dyes to get the yummy mustard yellow and backed with natural linen.
I asked mum to send me a picture when she sorted out her bed :)
