Quality time making wreaths

We have never made wreaths before... mum bless her has always bought them, and they really are expensive when you know it doesn't take much to make them yourself, I've always wanted to make them so i thought i'd arrange with my mum and my sister, a cosy night in making them together.

The material I purchased were the wreaths itself, from Wilkinsons for £4 each but they were 3 for the price of 2, plus a few dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks, which overall cost only £10. All the foliage was just found out and about (although i must have looked pretty strange to the public, going around with scissors and putting a load of greenery into a bag.. haha!)

So considering the average cost of a made wreath is around £15!... i saved us at least £35, and the wreath skeletons can be used again next year, so a great saving.

I think we all did really well for our first ever wreaths! They look great, and i think we've started a new lovely family tradition....

Merry Christmas to everyone, and wishing you all a very happy new year in 2020!
